Arc of Southeast Los Angeles County was founded in 1956 by a handful of dedicated and resourceful parents who wanted educational and employment opportunities for their sons and daughters.  The Arc has a rich and successful history of improving the lives of people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families. 

Today the Arc serves over 400 children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities from 26 cities in the Southeast Los Angeles County area.  Arc has a variety of programs and services developed to meet the needs of the people we serve.
